Glenn Rolfe Lands a Gig with Samhain!
We’ve long supported Glenn Rolfe. He’s a youngster with a knack for fluent words, and he tells a damn fine story. Apparently, we’re not the only ones who have noticed this, as Glenn just made a major career stride. The man is tapped to release a new story on the extremely popular Samhain brand.
Abram’s Bridge is the title of the forthcoming novella, and we’ve got some details courtesy of Glenn himself. Read on for some awesome news!
From Glenn’s page:
I just signed a contract with my dream publisher, Samhain Horror and editor Don D’Auria!
My debut novella with Samhain is entitled, Abram’s Bridge, and should be released in early 2015!
It’s an amazing accomplishment for me to be working under the man responsible for me wanting to write novels. Leisure Books Horror Club was initiated and captained by Don, and thrived for many years. It fed many a young and aspiring horror fan with novel after novel of quality talent in the horror genre. Now, to be a part of the Samhain family alongside some of my favorite current writers : Ronald Malfi, Brian Moreland, John Everson, Jonathan Janz (to name a few) is an unbelievable privilege and an absolute honor.
I know 2015 feels a ways off, but let’s gear up to support a fellow HNR follower. This kid has earned it!
HUGE congratulations Glenn!!!!!!! 🙂

Rena, when you told me I could write last summer at WHC, and not to let schooling redirect me or alter my style, that stuck with me. I’ve been lucky enough to have people like you, Lisa, and Matt (among many others) make me feel like I can do this.
Not sure if you remember that conversation in New Orleans, but I do.
Thank you so much.

Glenn,
Hot dog! You did it! Can’t wait to read your novella when it comes out. I’ll even review it for HNR. Now, the pressure is really on you. What’s your next project going to be? Does Stephen King know you’re hot on his ass? Keep writing, and don’t ever stop. This is how dreams comes true, my man!

Hey Wayne, thanks!
I’m working on edits with Robert S. Wilson on the completed manuscript for my novel, The Haunted Halls. That will be coming out in July via James Ward Kirk Publishing. Then, I’ll be re-working my werewolf novel, Blood and Rain. Also finishing up my serial novel on Jukepopserials.com, Becoming. After that I will get back to work on a novel called, Window (which will hopefully be my follow-up on to Abram’s Bridge) Other than that, always working on shorts stories.
I’m keeping my head down and running hard.
I would love to have you review any of these (when they get close to release).
Thanks again!
