Bio: Erin Shaw is an investigative journalist for hire. Currently she works for CrimeWatch Canada magazine. She has worked as a book reviewer and editor, independent bookseller and procurer, crisis line counselor, financial journalist, and a library assistant. She is also a writer of gruesome horror fiction herself and has a manuscript making the rounds in the publishing jungle as we speak.

She studied sociology and classics at the University of Alberta many years ago and strongly considered going to medical school but couldn’t due to a phobia of dead bodies. She also deathly fears cotton. Nevertheless she is an avid consumer of all things horrific and splattery; the scarier and bloodier and more F*cked up the better. She is a sucker for found footage horror films, Rob Zombie films and zombie films and books in general. Her obsessions include: graveyards, purses, etiquette books, rock hunting, death metal, proving snuff films exist(no luck yet),the opera, used bookstores, tattoos, zumba, creepypastas, urban legends, yoga, cats, crossword puzzles and cupcakes.
