Wayne C. Rogers
Name: Wayne C. Rogers
Age: 64
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Favorite Novel: The best all around novel I have ever read is The Bottoms by Joe R. Lansdale. My favorite novels in the horror genre are: The Shining by Stephen King, The Stand by Stephen King, It by Stephen King, The Green Mile by Stephen King, 11/22/63 by Stephen King, and Joyland by King. Thatâs an awful lot of books by King, and that isnât really all, either. There are books by other authors Iâve also enjoyed including: The Terror by Dan Simmons, Ghost Story & Floating Dragon by Peter Straub, the âOdd Thomasâ? series by Dean Koontz, the âMatthew Corbettâ? series by Robert R. McCammon, the âHap/Leonardâ? series by Joe Lansdale, and the âElvis Cole/Joe Pikeâ? series by Robert Crais. This, of course, is only the tip of the iceberg.
Favorite authors: Stephen King, Joe R. Lansdale, Dean Koontz, Dan Simmons, John Everson, Tom Piccirilli, Ray Garton, Peter Straub, Robert Crais, Lawrence Block, Craig Spector & John Skipp, Steve Hamilton, Charlie Huston, Mick Garris, John Connolly, and David Silva. Along with these established authors are also several new-and-upcoming writers such as Todd Keisling, Terry West, DS Ullery, and James Keen. You could probably add another twenty authors to this list.
Favorite quote: âGet busy living, or get busy dying.â? This is from Stephen Kingâs The Shawshank Redemption.

Some are: âStep in the Shadowsâ? in Iâll Never Go Away, âShanghai Edâ? in Grindhouse, âThe House of Painâ? in Paul Fryâs Peep Show: Volume 2, âTrick or Treatâ? in Horror Novel Reviews Presents One Hellacious Halloween: Volume 1, âThe Houseâ? in Horror Novel Reviews Presents When the Red Snow Melts, âThe Pitâ? in The Horror Zine Magazine Fall 2014, and âI Still Liveâ? in Shrieks and Shivers From The Horror Zine. Um, great profile. I think King takes your fave quote from Bob Dylanâs “Plays wasted words, proves to warn that he not busy being born is busy dying…” from a fave song: Itâs Alright, Ma (Iâm Only Bleeding). ð
