Check out What Stephen King Had to Say about Mike Flanagan’s Hush!
We reviewed Mike Flanagan’s new home invasion flick, Hush over on our sister site Addicted to Horror Movies. If you read that review, you know we enjoyed the film quite a bit. If you didn’t read that review, well, now you know our position.
But our position isn’t necessarily all that relevant, when you’ve got a legend and beloved icon like Stephen King declaring the film a masterpiece that stacks up to proven pieces of perfection like John Carpenter’s Halloween.
But let us not babble on about it – we’ve got a picture of King’s very own message, or thoughts, posted to his Twitter account for the masses to see:
Hush is directed and co-written by Mike Flanagan. John Gallagher Jr., Kate Siegel (who makes up the other 50-percent of screenplay brilliance), and Michael Trucco star.
Synopsis: A deaf woman is stalked by a psychotic killer in her secluded home.
I just watched this movie this morning because Stephen King liked it. LOL

I actually really enjoyed it! I don’t find many worthy horror movies anymore, but I would suggest Hush to my friends.

I think I missed the part where people thought Halloween was actually scary. Lol.

I’m not sure how that’s possible, but it would certainly seem so. The movie is one of the most chilling, unsettling and frightening films in existence.
