A Call to the Community: How Do You Feel About a Christmas Contest/Anthology?

So, the exceptional turnout for the Halloween anthology really got me thinking about future seasonal themed ebook releases. It’s obvious I’m looking to continue delving deeper into the world of publishing. That’s a big mountain to climb. Eventually however, I’d love to be featuring some big marquee names in our releases, but we’ve got to invest the footwork in order for that to be feasible.

Naturally – given the time of year – I’m thinking about a Christmas themed horror collection. But, it’s not only what I’m thinking about, it’s really about what all of you are you thinking as well. Without quality submissions, the wheels don’t turn.

So, my question to you: Are you interested in seeing/competing in a Christmas themed contest (and potentially appearing in a new seasonal anthology)?

I propose this question early so that I might actually be able to get this beast in motion in timely fashion. I cut the Halloween contest too close, and subsequently released six days (at minimum) too late. If I’m going to make a Christmas collection happen, I don’t want to put myself in that tight bind again.

Please, drop your thoughts here. Let me know if this is something you’d like to see happen. I’m also open to any feedback that any of you might have for me!
