Let’s try this again. Joe informed me that Hap & Leonard would also be attending the festivities on Monday, and that they would be expecting steak and French fries for lunch. I explained to Hisownself that maybe we could spring for some vanilla cookies and Dr. Pepper, but that would be about it. He told me to tell Leonard. He also said that Leonard was already in a bad mood because he couldn’t wear his deerstalker hat to the party. I said, “Joe, Leonard can wear whatever he wants, and Hap can wear his bunny slippers, if he wants to.”
